The Yard Brisbane welcomes in 2024!
We are all so excited to be back and look forward to an action packed year ahead. There are already some significant docking’s booked in for the coming year and many of our long term customers are getting in early to secure the best spots for their vessels.
We have already had some exciting things happen and we are only two weeks into January. Here is our highlight of the month!
Highlights of the month!
Cape Gloucester came in for a quick pit stop here at The Yard Brisbane. The team from RL Marine is thrilled to have installed brand new propellers that they meticulously crafted to match the engines and vessel.
This vessel is new to the Fodico Marine Group fleet. she’s proudly designed by Periscope Marine and built in Yamba by Hardwood Marine.

We are grateful for the opportunity to partner again with Birdon Marine, this time on a Pacific Patrol boat from Fiji. We were pleased to welcome the crew from the Fiji Navy and the Australian Navy representatives.
Birdon Marine will be with us here for four weeks for the deconstruction of the Fiji Navy Patrol boat.
McQuade Marine are back and with another one of their vessels!
This time with Faucon, a 44m dredging vessel, known in the industry as a Trailing Suction Hopper Dredge. She is one of the bigger dredging vessels to come to us and works up and down the east coast of Australia on large scale marine infrastructure projects.
Currently undergoing a makeover by the skilled hands of GT-MAC industries and RL Marine, Faucon’s rejuvenation includes careful sandblasting of her hull coatings and premium commercial grade anti-foul paint system. Her topsides are in for a treat too, with careful preparation and a fresh coat of paint that will make her shine anew!
Our trawler customers are active again this year and already we have welcomed Glenn and CP Jane, Brendan and Calendon Pearl, Gary and Shomac, Theresa and Perpetua as well as Dean and Blue Fin. We love our fishing customers and look forward to welcoming back more of our old friends.
